Paul.. I understand from reading posts on the thread that slot 1 costs about $20 more than socket 7. Other than the fact that it is patented and therefore can't be cloned easily, are there any real advantages that make it worth $20 more to a consumer now? Or is it more likely that the advantages will show up more later in 1998?
