The problem is that the Right is populated for the most part these days with people who have the attention span of goldfish. And that is insulting to goldfish, actually. It is very lucrative to pander to that group. There are books, websites and other forms of media that panders to them. And that doesn't include the scammer who advertise on and in those places. From gold coins and dietary "supplements" to quack cures and survivalist gear, they flock to fleece the suckers. And then there are the groups who fish for donations for various wingnut causes on which they never seem to actually donate much to. With 90% + going to overhead and marketing, they are lucrative money machines. The Clintons have been a big draw for everyone. Even the NYT.
