Dwight, Totally agree on 1 3/16 close being a good sign. Haven't traded there yet today, but I like the 1/16 spread. Agree on getting rid of the Dems first. Not all of them are tax (or borrow) and spend, just most of them. They cry and cry about "the children" and how we have to spend billions to "save the children"; no one ever mentions that we'd be doing it with our children's credit cards! There is some hope: "hate radio" has been calling them to the mat for the last couple of years and was responsible for the 1994 election. I'm hoping that the Fox News channel gets more outlets. Haven't seen their programming directly, but saw an interview with their president a few months ago and he made a lot of sense on trying to distinguish FNC from the others by returning to objective reporting, and abandoning the "anlge" reporting which, by construction, injects a point-of-view into the reporting of the facts. I'm encouraged by Fox News Sunday; when Brinkley retired, the mantle was going up for grabs. IMHO, ABC gave it away with their choice of co-anchors. CBS didn't have a chance with Dan Rather at the helm (although I think he's a pretty good guy when he gets away from news reporting). Tim Russert has definitely taken over for the big 3 as the most respectable host/program. He never injects his opinions (that I've seen) into his reporting/questioning. For the first several months I watched him, I assumed he was a Republican because I couldn't see the tainted agenda-driven raw sewage spewing onto my living room floor when the tele was on channel 5. I was quite shocked to find out he was a Dem, and my respect for his professional inegrity increased 100 fold. Tony Snow is doing a great job over on Fox; I think he'll give Russert a good run and may end up on top. I also like their panel more. Lord, I'm rambling... Just hit 1 3/16. Looks like good buying interest. Anyone for a 1 1/4 close? cheers, Rich
