"I love it when a canadian tells me how to vote, maybe you think
we're part of the commonwealth"

I stated before I am North American Indian. Who choose to stay in Canada.
My family is from the Wallowa tribe of Chief Joseph. The one the white American army came into camp while the warriors were away, dispersed and slaughtered the old, the women and children. History look it up.

Some made it to Canada. My great Grandmother among them. North American Status peoples unlike immigrants can still choose to live where they please. We are free to choose where we reside on either side of the border.

And even though I am not residing there. I still hold title to land on the American reservation. As a Nez Pierce can register to vote in the American election.

In 1960 Natives living in Canada were granted voting rights by then Conservative Prime Minister John Diefenbaker.

So in reply to your statement above. I maintain the right to offer my opinion on US elections and their Candidates.

A great read of the time from the Indian perspective narrated by a native man who was alive at the time. Transposed to novel form. From Where The Sun Now Stands By Will Henry.
