It's probably both shorting as well as profit taking. 3dfx has done well if you bought in low teens and many were waiting until Jan 2 to take profits so they wouldn't be hammered even more by taxes due to 97 capital gains. I think we'd see some pressure today but IMHO I think it will turn into a pre-earnings run-up. -Bill

Gary, When are earnings announced? Have there been any 12month price projections that seem reasonable to you? Jeff
