Yeah, pentiums are always available on the open market, thro distributors. It doesn't mean compaq will get them cheap, or Intel is obligated to disclose future plans etc..

Anyway its highly unlikely compaq will buy a business they have no clue how run and its unlikely that Sanders will sell, so this discussion is moot as all your posts are.

Maybe by contract, but not by law. Compac can always buy them on the open market but that doesn't mean Intel has to sell them directly to Compac at a discount price.
