Bob,

Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you!!!!

I will work on a CSI scan today.

WRT Wilder's MA -- I knew it was what many called "modified" but did didn't know what it was (EMA looked close enough for a first cut). I will factor this new information in and update the scan I posted earlier. I was using fragmented info -- some John Sugas had posted earlier, and what I could find at various places on the web.

I can not tell you how frustrating it has been to see a reference to the Wilder book over and over again and not being able to get my hands on it.

Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you!!!!!

Bob,

I don't speak French, but I think there was something else missing from that CSI formula, check it out:

walmaster.com

I'm within about 3% of agreeing with MSwin for all of the Wilder indicators. For some reason I'm closest when I use a 10 day modified average to calculate ADX.

Am using the V=100, M=2500 (really sqrt(M) = 50), and C=25 from the MSwin defaults but will need to look into these numbers some more before I try to trade with this indicator.
