Reluctantly reporting what he said is knocking him? Well, ok. The fact of the matter is that the press ignored most of crazy stuff for a long while. Now I will grant you that they have turned on him in the wake of his commercial for him when he was supposed to do a press conference on his birtherism. And before that, some of the media actually started to vet him. Something that isn't all that difficult considering he was covered for decades in NYC. Hillary isn't anywhere nearly as colorful as Trump. Nor has she engaged in the type of behavior that Trump has. If that is being in the tank for her, well...
