Larry about Jefferson Co. Tx . I can not find name of co. in Jefferson co, in my memory banks.I found it on one of the threads on SI. Perhaps another reader who has an oil co. in Jefferson Co. will tell us name of Co. I do not want to come across as a person who knows oil, I just buy stocks that look good on charts. Works for me. I saw OLEX was up a little bit today 2nd. of Jan, 1998. Sure do like the law of large numbers when buying shares of things that go up, does not hurt to have a luck and patience. Thanks for answering my post. To Christin- good luck on your oil buys too. Francis Terry

I do not know of another company with oil property in Jefferson County, but I do know of several individuals who have had experience with investments in oil wells that Mr. Burditt has drilled in Jefferson County. I believe that these wells were situated on property very close to the property on which the "Wilson Leases" are based. You might contact Ralph Grills (Denver, Colorado), Alfred Peeper, Thomas Alexander et al. (Jefferson County, Texas), Gene Hochevar (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma). I believe that you will find what they have to say very instructive regarding the "reserves" in this area.
