Besides Midland selling, not much else happening. Stron support with just under 85000 shares on the buy side between 40 cents and 44 cents.

"Borate minerals and refined borate products are used extensively world wide in the manufacture of vitreous products such as fiberglass insulation, textile fiberglass, borosilicate glass, ceramic glazes and porcelain enamels. These applications account for approximately 60% of borate consumption with detergents, fire retardants, metallurgy, agriculture, insecticides, wood preservatives and specialty products accounting for the remainder. The most important borate minerals from a world wide commercial standpoint are borax, ulexite and colemanite. These are produced in a limited number of countries, dominated by the US and Turkey, which together furnish approximately 80% to 85% of the world's borate supplies. The remainder of demand is filled by high cost - low grade products primarily from South America. As a result, approximately 20% of this US$1.3 billion world market is available to a new producer of high quality, competitively priced boron products. Market prices reflect the relative scarcity of borates with prices averaging US$250/t for colemanite concentrate, $650 - $750/t for boric acid, and up to $150/kg for specialty boron oxides. Erin Ventures has secured a 50% working interest in known borate deposits in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. This parallel's the company's objectives of increasing its mineral reserves through the development of existing properties and through the acquisition of additional advanced mining projects. "

The company is establishing a marketing network in Europe for future sales of boric acid, borax and enhanced borate from its Piskanja boron project in Baljevac which is 250 miles south of Belgrade, Yugoslavia. The European Union is the most important market for Yugoslavia and the return of the trade preferential status has opened the way for even greater exports.

The infill technical drilling program on the company's Piskanja boron prospect in Beljevac, Yugoslavia, is proceeding on schedule. Approximately 2,700m of the scheduled 15,000m drill program is now complete. The second set of drill logs (covering four holes) reveal that the company continues to intersect two main zones, with the following total amounts of boron: 8.5m of massive compact (high grade) boron and 3.5m of low grade from hole B-10; 3m of massive compact (high grade) boron from hole B-36; 2m of massive compact (high grade) boron and 2.5m of low grade from hole B-40; and 5m of massive compact (high grade) boron and 1m of low grade from hole B-16. The thickness of these boron intersections consistently meet and exceed expectations, as was the case with the initial set of logs.

Sounds like a world class find of a product not commonly found. EV must have run into a cash crunch with the drilling program (which continues in January) and ANZ picked up a deal..... anxious to see the details of the jv ... extremely confident it was a good move for investors....
