I tend to agree with you. Because Trump is so awful we tend to forget how flawed a candidate Hillary is. I am hoping I am wrong. The House will be a heavy lift.

Far be it from me to defend the conclusions of a conservative columnist such as this one, but I agree. It's an easy generalization that an 8 point Clinton lead definitely put the senate in danger for the Reps and gets them to have to worry about the house. The variable is not just how attractive a candidate Clinton is as it is about just how negative Trump will be. And then there is the propensity to not split the tickets.
