White Shoes - I'd like to submit MTIC (MTI Corporation). These guys are competitors to EMC - their business is in data storage (RAID controllers and subsystems). They have had six quarters of sequential growth. Lots of demand for their product. They have over 20 patents for their product and get royalties on them. EMC pays lots in royalties to MTIC. Their business of data storage in client-server environments is growing like crazy - which is the high-growth area of data storage. They have positioned themselves very well to serve both Unix and the Microsoft Windows NT environment. Currently a small cap stock which will likely be in the Nasdaq in January - they have had their application into the Nasdaq. About 70% insider ownership. A large turnaround story in '97 and has almost for sure probability of similar success in '98. Intelligent management - very IR friendly - they understand shareholder value.

Volume has been low lately - but Jan. earnings should be very strong and Nasdaq entry is likely. I wouldn't be surprised with $20 by Jan. end and $30 by year end. Also forward looking PE of less than 20 - and that's if MTIC does not beat estimates - which they have done for six quarters.

These people are profitable and growing very nicely, where the rubber meets the road in the world of Embedded Internet Devices ... with a share price that got ahead of itself last year ... since corrected from 56 down to the mid 30's. This is a 100 million a year company with only 8 million shares outstanding.
