We liberals have been trying to get that across to the conservatives for 100 years. We have not met with much success. On the one hand everybody sort of consciously knows that our goal should be the happiness that is found in the Nordic countries.

Now the liberals know that the reason for their success is an educated populace and a large socialist society. But there are certain people that think they can get to the same place by another means i.e. raw capitalism and they can't seem to bring himself to recognize that that equation doesn't work-lol.

We have had to go through decades of destruction to our society with that nonsense supply-side economics. None of the major universities in the world that I know of teach supply-side economics. It didn't work. We liberals knew it wouldn't work when they first presented at 50 years ago.

Anyway, it looks like were going to have the muscle when Hillary is elected to finally implement good sound liberal social planning. It always works e.g. FDR.
