I guess I would push back a little on that. Another way to look at it is a good looking 23-year-old girl taking advantage of a 50-year-old guy. I have seen that a zillion times. When I was working out of the laborers union on the Alaska pipeline, there were a number of 23-year-olds (approx.) up there who were playing, tempting, the old Southern pipe liners. The 23-year-old women were mostly liberal and light years ahead of the 50-year-old southern conservative pipeline workers intellectually. The women had all the power and the men had none and they used it to their advantage. I don't remember any situation up there where it was the reverse. Although I'm very sympathetic to young women who are sexually harassed by older bosses. But the beauty of a young woman can also drive and old man crazy. Lolita-lol. One is never too old to be a student. <<Secondly, Monica Lewinsky was not under age. Don't blame him. The wingnut echo chamber decided a long time ago that all interns are under 18, conveniently ignoring the fact that Monica was 23 when she played Mr. Microphone with Bill. Which doesn't excuse the fact that Bill was in his 50s and there was a vast power differential between the two of them. So, while what they did was legal, the ethics stank. No matter how strongly she initiated things.
