I'm sorry, but I cannot agree with you. We should try to be at peace with everyone, as far as we are able, regardless of their belief in whatever system.

For God so loved "the world" that he gave his only begotton son. Why should there be, "us" and "them"? My belief is, God will give everyone equal opportunity to learn the truth, some will respond now and others later, but God cares for each and everyone of his creation and is not willing that anyone perish. There will be great joy in heaven over one soul that is saved. But God will do the saving, not us.

God would not allow Moses to enter the Promised Land, because he sinned against God by taking credit for making water come out of the rock for the Israelites in the wilderness. He struck the rock in anger because he was upset with the people because of their whining and spoke to the people as if he had caused the water to appear. God has no favourites, and hates it when people pridefully take the credit for his work, we should be very careful in this respect. I have seen people on the Ask God thread boastfully write about witnessing and pulling people in. They should remember that God provides the fish.

Gregor, relax and let God do battle for you!

Respectfully
Carol

Gregor! What a wonderful position you are in. There was a time when Chesty Puller, the greatest general in Korea, I guess, after I read about old Chesty or saw it on the millions of veteran things I watch--whatever--his guys were all pinned down, outnumbered, and overwhelmed, and he yelled to his troops: "Men, we couldn't be in a better position--we can now fire in all directions!" And the military fable states that all survived that particular attack, and I'm sure with some praying CHristians who brought on a miracle too.

Anyway, Gregor, we have the General of all generals. He can get you through. And will, of course. :)
