Saul ALinsky really gets a bad rap. He was a righteous dude, very much like Bernie Sanders. If I had to describe the difference between the Republican Party and the Democratic Party in one sentence, it would be that Democrats run their societies using modern social science. And Republicans do not. And they fail as a consequence. Republicans pay no attention the modern social science. All modern social science, is a science and it is taught pretty much the same by every university in the country. There are things that modern social scientists have learned make societies function better so that the people in that society are happier. Isn't that the goal of a good society to make people happy and healthy? Republicans, literally have some crazy idea, that unfettered capitalism is all you need for a society to flourish. It is such nonsense as to be incredulous. How is pure capitalism going to decide what principles to higher, what building code should be, what water and sewer facilities should be supplied?
