I guess the termination could be immediate with the proper response by the authorities. <"you seem to be insisting on an interminable case"> A prompt and proper response would end the interminable. They are probably frustrated by being in Hong Kong working under the still extant wonderful Virtuous Victorian Values of common law, judicial independence, and all that good stuff.

Made in China resolution could be much more prompt and sometimes involves termination of the "trouble maker" without due process let alone reference to Magna Carta.

Thank you for the update.

Mqurice

Remember when talking to the police it is important to always bring them about sharply by reminding them that YOU are a taxpayer and YOU pay their salary.

Interject the following while lecturing them.

1. "You're kinda short for a police officer."
2. "I was speeding on the way here.”
3. "I wanted to join the police force growing up but my aptitude tests were too high."
4. "When do the rest of the Village People get here?"
5. "Did the doughnut shop close early today?"
6. "I've always wanted to know what a taser gun feels like."
