Hello All,

Many times when you buy with a shorter term signal while Dahl or MACD (13-34-89) are going in the right direction BUT are not yet long you are getting into a Dahl / MACD (13-34-89) trade early. Yes, you are not using them as the entry BUY you might wind up using them as your exit. StochRSI (14) or StochRSI (8-5) or MACD (8-17-9) or Optimized Parabolic SAR or some other shorter term indicator may be your trigger to a buy. You then might watch to see if one of the longer term signals like Dahl develops and if they do while you are already in the trade you might use them for the exit.

Think of it as a relay race with one group of indicators handing off the baton to another group of indicators. The shorter term indicators are passing off to the medium term who may in turn hand off to the longer term. It works if you do it right..

To me, the best dress is the one that is being bought regardless of it's color..
