Unrestrained growth is destroying the planet. Unfortunately it is the other species that have been taking the brunt of it. The human condition can be improved by negative growth by better distributing existing resources. I hope Hillary will be able to raise taxes on the rich as a starting point. The West has been weak in defending women's rights in poor nations. Lack of access to family planning and other services perpetuates the subjugation of women and perpetuates destructive ancient religions. Poor women often become baby producing machines and live miserable lives. This must be stopped. Instead of fighting for resources we should be fighting for principles. Poor people must have access to a decent standard of living and greatly reduce the number of children they produce. Open borders in this hemisphere will only allow religiously dominated and corrupt governments to use emigration as a relief valve to keep themselves in power. The idea that we need immigration to support an aging population is folly. I could go on endlessly...
