Only to pump those semiconductors once so that major houses can unload their stuff before the market starts factoring the reality of slowing earnings from South East Asean peoblem; or they expect big buyers to come in and buy semis the next week because of the January effect.
IMO the rally in Semis may not last long and based on how much they are pushed up they may be good shorts.
