The Journal's magazine , Smart Money , picks the telecom equipment sector as one of its best five for the new year and beyond. They specifically singled out DSC (DIGI) Communications as their favorite stock in the sector. The magazine attributes much of the future success to "DSC's access product-Litespan 2000-can carry voice video and broadband traffic." Well folks, who is helping to develop this product. That's right Westell. Remember the
collaborative agreement signed between DSC and Westell late last spring for the Litespan 2000.----- Keep the faith!

I think this is the most generous explanation you can give. If the telcos --- i.e., Bell Canada and GTE --- led him astray, then there's far more to the story than meets the eye.

Just my take.
