All the drive makers were up today not just QNTM.
I don't think it is from Mutual funds because the volume was 3,471,000 and the average volume is 5,138,636. (moved up on low vol)

The chart looks great to me but I have limited expirence with TA.

It was a positive day for the sector. SEG, INVX, APM,RDRT, and of course QNTM all up nicely. Many of my other tech holdings also up today, I will be curious if this same momentum can be sustained when the big volume returns over the next couple of weeks. It does feel initially positive to me.
