Rod, you got offended because someone said that they have never
personally experienced Iomega failures, nor have any of their
colleagues, and the only failures he had heard of were from a few
people who post on this board?

Of course you are going to perceive that the group here are
'juvenile delinquents' if your skin is so damn thin that you cannot
accept a counter-argument without whining...

Sheesh.

If memory serves, Iomega has stated in more than one conference call that the rate of product returns is not abnormal and well within industry norms. 11 million Zips out there is testimony to the statement's accuracy. Do you believe that management is hiding the truth (to put it mildly)? Do you believe the problems you reference are new?

Rod,
How do you know that this is typical for this thread. I have been on this thread for 1 1/2 years and have not seen you post one time. If you are a lurker, why would you lurk for such a long time on a thread about a company that you say has products of a very bad quality?

Rod

You can count me in the satisfied group. 3 PP Zip's, 1 INT ATAPI, & 1 INT SCSI with about 30 discs and not a problem in sight. I also know at least 20 people with Zip's and have never heard them complain. Yes, they do know that I have an investment stake in IOM and I'm sure they would tell me if they have had any problems.

It is also true that my only exposure to failures has been through posts like your's.

If you find this post to be amusing and juvenile, then so be it.

Differences of opinion are what moves the markets. A stock like IOM has a long way to go before it reaches it's potential and that's what keeps a large portion of my easily earned dollars in it.

>>My only exposure to failures have been through posts like yours.

Well, that's typical of the sort of feable, mindless insults one can expect for conveying a negative experience on this thread. It's like walking into a kindergarten full of juvenille delinquents who have been left back about 8 grades, but I should have seen the sign on the door before I walked in: IOM. I have to say I would be less than honest if I didn't find comments like yours amusing, albeit at your expense.<<

Gee, Rod, I don't see how this comment can be taken as a personal insult. The poster is simply saying that he hasn't heard about Iomega product failures except in posts like yours. How is that a "mindless insult"? How is it an insult at all?

Your response, on the other hand, is highly personal and insulting. I do not understand.
