I agree. Sim did told me to expect another acquisition.

I had just receive my bokerage report on Singapore stocks for 1998. Creative is on the neutral list. It cautioned the threat posed by DirectX (ridiculous) in surpassing the SB standard. The neutral position was maintained due to the lack of technology visibility beyond 1998.

THe report did cited an EPS of US78 cents for the DEC quarter and a forecast of 32.1% margin for 1998.

Now it remains to be seen whether Creative's LIVE will supersede the old SB standard. The only clear advantage now is that it will be SB compatible. 1998 will be an exciting year for Creative in the multimedia business.:)
