Rojer,
What do you think about YHOO(I know, Monday will reveal all!).Seriously, it seems to have a habit of rebounding fron double down days. Surely this bad habit must end!

Nice work Roger, but those of us who've been following you for some time aren't surprised. It's especially impressive as today all kinds of questionable stocks went shooting upwards. It looks as if at least the first half of January will be extremely strong for the market with all the money flowing in and not much outflow. If Korea behaves itself we may see quite a rocket for a while. Anyway, I think one thing you should warn newcomers on this thread about, Roger, is that you are the fastest person to cover your shorts when they move against you that I have ever seen. It's truly a great ability and one that beginning shorters such as yours truly are seriously lacking in. Do you have any advice on how you manage to cover so quickly? Do you use stops or are you constantly watching the market or what exactly is your secret?

Incidentally I did pretty well with puts in '97 except for my two remaining puts which are virtually worthless. My Jan 45p on yhoo are now worth literally pennies. Even a sudden fall will not save them. Also, and more surprisingly, at least to me, my Feb puts on itwo are virtually worthless also. I'm tempted to add more at these sale prices on puts, as there still is time for itwo to collapse, but I'll watch and wait, as my record with short term options is miserable. Anyone have any opinions on why a stock like itwo is so strong these days, near its all time high with a p/e over 200? I hope I get another opportunity to buy broc under 4. I wasn't watching on Wednesday and missed my chance.
