While I disagree and am sometimes annoyed with the posts of certain individuals, they do serve a purpose or two. IMO we must welcome everyone here.

Those who are new to the thread receive the opportunity of evaluating arguments from various points of view, no matter how extreme. I'd bet for example that there are many others who've experienced problems with Iomega products and are interested in knowing if they should be concerned from an investment point of view.

In addition, I believe there is more to be learned from those who post a negative or Devil's Advocate point of view than from those who simply post the positive. After all, I suspect the vast majority of the folks on this thread are Iomega bulls who've already laid their money down.

Don't get me wrong, there are certainly those who post to simply prompt a reaction and gain attention, however, to request the silence of the opposition is a mistake.

Regards - Dale

The reference to Freud isn't really germane but it does provide us with some interesting insight. Gary, we call that behavior reflection. It's very easy to spot as you can well imagine -- take your revealing discussion for example.
