The thesis of the problem in the United States is that we are now controlled by a plutocratic oligarchy i.e. the rich are buying our Congress and instructing them on what kind of laws they want them to pass for their own good. So what our task has to be, is use our democracy to bring those plutocrats under control so that we can get back to a representative democracy. How do we do that? The first thing we have to do is implement controls to bring the plutocrats under the rule of law. To get them to pay their fair's share of the taxes and get them to quit abusing our country as their personal bank and natural resources for their own purposes, instead the good of society. That means starting with repealing citizens United which allows a single billionaire to have a huge impact on our election e.g. the Koch brothers. The Republicans have always been the party carrying water for the rich, and the Democrats have been the party of the working man and middle class. FDR! So what we need to do is obviously vote in Democrats. That should be as clear as a bell. <<Trump is definitely more honest than Hillary. Both the Republican and Democrat parties are so corrupt they are beyond redemption, IMO. And as you have probably noticed, many in the corrupt Republican party would rather see Hillary in office. That speaks to the fact that both parties are bought and paid for by the Same money and Trump is an outsider to this corrupt system which is why the people like him, despite him being somewhat 'insane' as you put it. Although Trump's long track record in business indicates that he is anything but insane. The people who gave the world ISIS are insane to have done so. Made Everybody less safe. Now they want another 4 years in office. I shudder to think what they will give us in the next 4 years. What could be worse than ISIS? Maybe an alien invasion that will decimate humanity!!
