Come on, you're twisting the theory to what's obviously a unique situation. <g>

MSFT's strategy has been to use the browser as an adjunct to the OS to cement their OS dominance. Nutscrape has pretty rough going, trying to make money in a market where their chief competitor charges nothing. The fact of the matter is, had Navigator been better designed and more functional, MSFT would not have caught up so quickly. After the 200th system crash from it, I quit using it.

Internet Explorer, by the way, now in it's fourth release, is also a piece of CRAP. To paraphrase Churchill, IE is worst browser -- except for all the others. Lets take a poll. How many IE users actually use the active desktop?
