Bonefish - I am convinced that the Hellary supporters here do not make any capital gains so Crooked Hellary raising capital gains taxes means nothing to them. If you do not make any money trading then having your profits confiscated by the Federal Government does not affect you. LOL
Those of us who actually are traders and actually have to pay capital gains taxes have a reason to be concerned. Hellary wants to increase the amount of money confiscated from those who earn it by the Federal Government so that votes can be purchased from those who produce nothing.
"From each according to his ability to each according to his need." is the Progressive Marxist prescription for disaster. Those that love it are only those non producers who want their needs met by producers.
It has never worked and will never work and especially in a country with a history and tradition like the United States of America.
The thing you must remember is that the Progressive elites know it will not work, do not intend for it to work, and have no intention of it working. For them it is just a means to an end. The end for them is to be all powerful.

The sad part is that retired people who have done everything in their life right, by working hard, saving enough money to retire on, and then living off the income...they will be punished the most by her policies. Savers in this country are punished and forced to pay for the profligacy of the government and the greed of the people who don't work and live off endless welfare.

Everything is upside down in this country.
* Instead of an income tax and more taxes on earnings, we need a tax on spending, so that people have the right incentive structure to save and be frugal with spending.
* Instead of GDP, we should focus on GDI.
* Instead of a financially repressive, Keynesian monetary policy that steals money from people through inflation, we should have an Austrian monetary policy that focuses on a stable price of money that rewards savers.
* Instead of $20 trillion in debt, which has already doomed the US to endless low growth malaise, we should control our spending, re-implement the balanced budget amendment.
* Instead of lying to the American people and spending money with zero accountability, we should make it a law that federal government financial statements should be prepared in accordance with the FASB/GASB and make it illegal to have "emergency appropriations" that are not recorded in the federal financial statements and budget.

I could go on, but the totality of what is wrong in the US is really depressing me.
