You are right. Having the Republicans basically admit they were lying when they said the next president should choose Scalia's replacement will do nothing but help the party.

That is, of course, assuming that the Republicans can hold onto the Senate, that is. That doesn't look good for now. But, there is still a bit more than 2 weeks until the election.

No way the R's keep the senate. Even if it is 50/50, the vice president casts the deciding vote.

The times they are a changen and it is going to be YUGE.

Maybe the Rs keep the Senate and can just withhold any confirmations until Clinton is out of office. Four years running a few short would be better than allowing her to appoint nutjobs.
