Nobody makes more $$$ than Gates! Dell's percentage of increase in dollars on his shares was greater, making him a tidy 3 billion$, but Gates blew him away with 14+ billion$ profit on his shares in '97. Stephen

Sue,

Hi!!!! Happy New Year..........and yes, Mike had a good year too!
Yesterdays market rise looks like a nice indicator for the first session...yes, low volume....but, interesting IMO to see what stocks were the most actives....undervalued and being grabbed first. Asian situation just might not be as great a negative here....afterall, doesn't this sector usually grow just a bit more anyhow than the vast majority of other sectors?? So, if things are going to slow down?? Where do you go to get a better % of possible growth?? Yes, I look at it from the optimistic view....but, then again....history has proven that staying with this sector for the long haul will reward.
Best, Kemble
