Greenspan is an excellent choice, Patrick! Have you tried Cakebread Cellars 1992 Merlot? Further to your point, I agree that nit-picking on the &#145Swap&#146 thread, as an example, would detract from the thread itself (btw, I regularly read your posts there because they're quite good).

A more elegant solution is to have a seperate thread. In fact, you're soaking in it. (sorry, I often resort to ancient commercials for effect)

ACCCCKKKK, you hit a button:

< Inferring that I should get wrapped up with the hypothetical post "You're[ sic] best buy is APM" when the clear intent was "Your best buy is APM" misses the intent.

You DO mean to say "imply" rather than "infer", um, don't you?

Understand: on this thread we take no grammatical prisoners.

I do not correct each and everything others say because it detracts from the theme of the message.

Patrick, I agree and have always felt that way about ordinary oral conversation. As regards the written word, up until my time here on SI, I would have said I draw the line with "public" prose, which is what I consider posts such as these to be. However, having read stuff here on SI for more than a year, I have pretty much learned that some people whom I consider "intelligent" just, for whatever reason, can't write very well-- so I have learned to look past "bad" grammar and spelling.

Additionally, as much as I hate to admit it, I might even now accept a resume that contained a typo, something I never would have done a year ago. I'm not sure if that says something about me or about society in general-- and I really am not sure I care to think about it further (gg).
