Touche Don!

I should have said that AMZN has an "earnings announcement" at which they will report losses, no doubt, but I think the stock price is driven more by revenue growth than the trend of losses.

I have a bet with Bob that the stock will hit $70 this spring, so I'm hoping your $66 number is a bit low. I expect Internet retail commerce numbers for the 4th quarter to be higher than expectations and that these reports will bring significant new investment into Amazon, OnSale, Music Boulevard, etc.

Traditional retail numbers will be disappointing. It's a is very mature industry. Square Foot per consumer has doubled in 20 years, and, simultaneously, their fringes have been chipped away by mail order, home selling and now E-commerce. In the past year AMZN has written the book on E-commerce. It's a freight train just now leaving the station, and 4th quarter numbers will be just the ticket to bring more investors on board while there's still time to catch it.
