Got your lithium stocks?

I have some for the intermediate term.

The question remains, what will be the best technology fro EV's. So far the lithium-ion technology showed its limit.

What will be the metals involved in the real mass production technology?

Will it be lithium, gold, magnesium, hydrogene/platinum, graphene...? Who knows

I wouldn't make too many near term investments decisions about oil stocks based on Bloomberg's extrapolated predictions for 2023 and 2028, LOL. Through the first 9 months of 2016 fewer than 111,000 PEVs have been sold in North America compared with annual sales of combustion vehicles of 17-18 million!

Another fact: oil stocks have been the best performing sector in 2016, along with gold stocks, despite these scary headlines which have been promoted by the mainstream media throughout the year.

What this writer doesn't seem to understand is that as long as oil prices stay low, his prediction in this article, marketing expensive and limited range PEVs will be an uphill battle.

For the record, I support moving to PEVs as they become cost-effective and practical (without large government subsidies mostly to the rich, e.g. Tesla owners). But I try to make investment decisions on the basis of facts and reasonable surmises about the immediate future, not hyped up headlines and wild extrapolations by the likes of this writer.
