Jules - I have never heard of the "T7L" Risk core - it looks like it was developed by a company that was just formed in 1997 - for the purpose of making/selling a CPU that can be programmed into a Xilinx FPGA.

It sounds useful - but to a limited degree. Who has ever used one of these and why would they need a brand new CPU when there are humpteen million controllers on the market?
