PX, >>>Re: MS Word
Yup <g> I thought about MS Word, and every release I've ever used of Word has been very functional and adequately designed, all the way back to early releases in DOS . . .<<<

Until WordPerfect dropped out of sight, MSWord was always in a catch up mode. It was always harder to use (less intuitive) - like drawing a line, indenting, or using bullets.

To this day, the automatic bullet items that come up when I don't want it to - annoys the h*ll out of me.

But, I have to agree with Paul Engles, MSFT usually keeps chugging along and hangs around long enough to outlast the competition (wears them out).

And, as I've said on more than one occassion, I have never had difficulty installing Netscape (maybe five or six versions on four or five different computers), but I have yet to install MSIE without major hazzles.

The same goes for MSN, I have honestly tried to use their services, I have yet to succeed. Whereas, I have installed AOL (maybe ten times or more) without any problems.

Hey, maybe you have to be a genuius to use MSFT products. Geniuses designing software for other geniuses.

I really have no axe to grind. I will use any software that will work for me.
