If the politicians would quit making up new and bigger taxes - these foundations would be one good place to make the 1 % begin to pay their fair share.

I'd say 10% for running the foundation and 90 % for charitable expenses and they go with out scrutiny.

Other than that pay up on contributions sitting there and or expenses in excess of 10%.

Imagine opening a foundation with the family name when you are piss ass broke? Unless of course you have something valuable to sell.
