Hi Roger,

None of my indicators are long term. What I have now is an indication that these markets are poised to move higher for the near term, at least. Prices could run out of steam in a few days or a week and I might get a sell signal. We may be about to have our volcanic blowoff peak before prices start flowing into new lows, but I still don't have any technical cause to believe that as yet. It could just keep going. This is part of my confusion that precipitated my beginning this thread. How could these markets keep going like that energizer rabbit with the real liklihood of diminished earnings due to the Asian situation? Unless the markets see something that we're missing. These markets look 9 months ahead. In the meantime, these markets still look solid after this recent sell off.

All the best to you in 98 and happy trading.
