The fun is yet to begin. The big boys have to return to the market from their vacationing/retreating with this year's fat bonuses (record for the WS). They have to assimilate the new developments concerning Yahoo! Will they ignore and keep buying Yahoo!? Well there is a nice article in the WSJ:

The Perils of Pundits

Want to hear two of the only reliable predictions that can be made about the high-tech industry? One: The pundits will be wrong. Two: People will continue to listen to them.

The article goes on to say:

Such predictions [Netscape dominating MSFT and SUNW taking over computing] -- as well as talk of Internet gigalapses and unfulfilled promises about more bandwidth -- have left some scratching their heads. Why do we keep listening to Internet-industry pundits when it seems that their forecasts are about as reliable as a psychic hotline's?
