My first choice was Scott Walker. I knew the GOPe hated Cruz so much for trying to force Congress to keep their promises to use the power of the purse, they'd stab him in the back to get someone else in. And that's what happened. Scott Walker hadn't been in Congress so Boehner-McConnell didn't hate him yet.

I went to Cruz after Walker dropped out. He was the most conservative one running. But I'm not in a personality cult. I think Cruz should actually have endorsed the SOB at the convention ... literally. He should have called him a son of a bitch as he endorsed him for reasons of party loyalty and keeping his promise to support the nominee.

There isn't a chance Cruz would vote for a Hillary judicial appointment. McConnell and the GOPe will.

We need a conservative party to the right of the Republican party. If the R's put up conservatives, vote for them. If not, don't. That's my philosophy now.
