Food Delivery Driver Delivers To Robbers At 1,100 Feet-Per-Second

Posted at 2:59 pm on October 27, 2016 by Beth Baumann

Last Friday night around 11 p.m., a group of three men in Henrico, VA attempted to rob a delivery driver. One of the men pulled out a handgun and demanded the driver’s money.

The driver, however, had a handgun of his own. He pulled out the gun and fired several rounds at his attackers, striking one of them, who happens to be a minor.

One of the neighbors recounts her version of the story:

I was sitting at the dining room table playing a game of solitaire, then we heard two or three gunshots. Sounded real close. I say good for him. I’m glad he protected himself.

According to a Henrico Police spokesman, this was robbery stopped in its tracks:

Upon arrival, officers learned this was related to a robbery attempt. The victim reported being approached by three black males while attempting to make a food delivery. One suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim then pulled his handgun and fired at the suspects who fled.

18-year-old Mouctar Bah was arrested in connection with the incident. Bah was charged with two counts of robbery use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

The minor who sustained gunshot wounds was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
