If you want it one question at at time, then just answer that one question and don't go off on to other points even related ones. Its a limited form of discussion, but if you'll limit yourself to it as well I'm game. OK so one question - Here it goes - Define liberal/liberals? I'm not looking for a large essay covering the philosophical movements that get labeled with that term, just a definition we could apply to the members of congress of the 60s and to prominent politicians today and get a clear answer liberal or not liberal.

To late to edit my last reply to you, so I'll add one clarification to my first question. Liberal has to be defined in such a way as to make no reference to segregation, racism, or voting on the Civil Rights law, not even an indirect reference. The reason why is that your point is "conservatives support/supported segregation, while liberals opposed it", if that point is going to be meaningful, and be something we can properly evaluate, you can't just present it as a tautology. Otherwise your left presenting a view that conservatives support segregation by definition and liberals oppose it by definition and my disagreeing with the definitions.
