As you might expect, I don't think that your IBM/Unisys comparison is appropriate. Those companies had vast financial resources even at the depth of their troubles, whereas to me Zenith looks to be near the end of it's ability to obtain further financing.

I'll take your word for it that Zenith outsells the Japanese, but they haven't been making money doing it. (And to return to your comparison, IBM and Unisys weren't selling only commodity products.) Outselling Asian manufactures and losing money while doing so might have been possible in the past, but will become more difficult after the recent Asian currency devaluations squeeze prices even further.

Cmon
