You call democratic socialism naïve. Yet you do not understand that every democracy in the world is a democratic socialist country! <<A society making sure those that live in the spring of life, those that live in the winter of life, and those that live in the shadows of life, are tended to and well taken care of." The first word I think of is "naive." But after that, it occurs to me that only a person who is unfamiliar with animal nature would believe this place exists. It is child-like, and in fact, my son as an 8 year old could have easily seen that this was a silly notion, and he would have accurately diagnosed the problem as an incentive trap. It is just not something that thoughtful people would envisage.
