Hah, yes I recall reading some years ago that actually very few physicists really understood the special theory of relativity. They could write down the equations, but that is not understanding it in the way that Einstein understood it. Now we have string theory, which probably nobody understands.

And what's more, the wise men don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick.

But here is the $64 observation.

A person can learn to see relativity, they can be taught.

But you cannot teach a person to see Zen or existentialism You can teach about it, but not to see it in the minds eye.
