It really is quite incredible. Confirmation bias leads people to believe amazing things without bothering for even a few minutes to check their veracity. At least, they post these things as if they believe them--whether that is the case or not, I can't say. If they don't believe the things they post, it is even worse though. Very perverse.

I heard a great radio piece today on how conservatives in all these small towns are terrified of 'Sharia Law' coming to THEIR town because two or three Muslims have moved in. They learned and spread this as you noted above. Trump is resonating for them!
