Something held up the warrant.


There is just one line that says the officials suddenly 'realized' no one had obtained the warrant. They were trying to bury it

Chris Wallace interrupted his chat fest with "the panel" on FOX this am to announce he had just received an email from Bret Baire saying Weiner gave the FBI agents permission to search his lap top so "no warrant was necessary."

I don't know what the heck to believe
