Mike/Robt:

Happy new year.

Assuming 1B quarterly revenues and 94% costs, 10% increase in revenues and costs will add 6MM to the bottom line. 6MM will not make or break Oxford.

Oxford's phenomenal growth occured due in major part to point of service plans. The consumer prefers freedom of choosing caregivers. Oxford failed (dumb computer!) to account for its costs. The problem is being corrected. Yes, costs will rise. Cost increase is an industry problem not an Oxford specific problem. Oxford is among the lowest cost insurers in POS plans. Oxford will need regulators approval for a premium increase in excess of 10%. Only restriction Oxford has is that it cannot use 3MM penalty as cost in requesting for premium increase. IMHO, the market structure will allow Oxford to increase premiums in excess of 10% if its costs also increase.

I had speculated that Oxford will cease to exist in its current form in the next century (see my post #692) but I maintain that the talks of its death are premature.

<Mike, probably because as you mentioned, you had overloaded your portfolio with the stock in the mid-20's. >

Sorry, was never overweighted here - maxed at 10%. What's made me emotional is being accused of dishonesty and slipperiness, as well
as your condescending attitude.

Great one, I give up - you win whatever. But no niceties - you
accused me of lying now I sincerely dislike you specifically.
This good luck crap doesn't fly in the face of your hubris.

Mike
