There is a big difference between Clinton's bad judgment regarding her mail server, and Trump's numerous criminalities. Add to that the fact that he's a racist and a quasi-fascist, and that he lies at a greater rate than any politician I've ever known about, and Clinton looks pretty attractive by comparison, even to people (like me) who find plenty to criticise about her. Trump's tax return is very significant, because it will reveal what sort of lies he's been telling about various things, like how wealthy he is, and how much he gives to charity, and who he's in debt to.
