People that think that decency means weakness. It is the exact opposite. The most decent people are the bravest. Because it takes a lot of bravery to be decent. But it is easy and cowardly to join a mob e.g. KKK. It was the decent people that stood up against slavery and segregation that were the bravest during their time. And if you took the time to look through the Democrats that went to war compared to the Republicans, you'd be surprised to find that many more Democrats went than Republicans. Republicans are chicken hawks. George Bush and Dick Cheney and Donald Trump all got deferments. But guys like Kerry, or George McGovern, a World War II bomber hero, where most of his squad was killed were brave and decent. JFK lost one of his sons, Pilot, and JFK himself was severely injured and saved a bunch of people. You use Chamberlain, who wasn't decent as much as he was stupid. Why don't you use FDR? FDR was decent as they come. And he was one tough son of a bitch. so was his wife. He beat th right wing junk yard dogs down and got us social security. You seem like a serious person, so I am giving you a serious answer. But I know a left-handed slap and insult when I see one. PS FDR was chomping on the bit to get at Hitler, but the Republican isolationists prevented him until Dec, 7th, 1941! I would have goner after him in the 1930's if predident, I don't hesitate to fight. When Hillary wins I want her to stick a red hot stick right up the Republicans ass. How's that-lol? <<I think you would have been a great admirer of Neville Chamberlain. He seemed to think along the same lines as you. He was a very decent man but naive...
